6pm, 26th February 2026
Location: Keg and Brew Hotel, Surry Hills
A great evening of informal conversation and lively debate, UDA members and friends gathered at the Keg & Brew for another edition of UDA at the Pub.
Over drinks, we unpacked some of the big questions shaping Sydney’s urban future:
The Sydney Plan — What’s actually new, and will it make a difference?
Ditch the Poles and Wires — UDA’s Big Idea (shortlisted for the Committee for Sydney 2026 Summit and featured in the SMH) sparked plenty of discussion, along with shared stories — and frustrations — about Sydney’s streetscape clutter.
New Sydney Fish Market — Early impressions of this major new destination were exchanged, including reflections on the loss of continuous foreshore access.
As always, the evening was less about formal presentations and more about open, thoughtful exchange — a chance to test ideas, share observations, and connect with fellow urbanists in a relaxed setting.
