Becoming a member of the Urban Design Association NSW (UDA) connects you with a community dedicated to advancing the profession of urban design playing an essential role in shaping better built environments.  As a member, you will gain access to resources, discourse, professional networks, and industry recognition.  As the UDA is a member-based, incorporated association, more information about membership is included in the UDA Constitution. To find out more, see the link.

Membership Categories 

  • For practicing urban designers who wish to be recognised for their expertise and who adhere to the highest professional standards, may apply and be formally accepted as a UDA Registered Urban Designer.

    Annual Fee - $270

  • For urban designers and other built environment professionals, or people with a general interest in urban design and urbanism.  

    Annual Fee - $115

  • For students or recent graduates (<2 years) interested or pursuing a career in urban design, providing affordable access to professional resources, events, and networking.  

    Annual Fee - $50

Please note: If you join the UDA in June 2026, your membership will remain valid until 30 June 2027, giving you membership for the remainder of the current membership year and the full 2026/27 membership year.
